We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place in the world. The following beaches have been recommended to us by mums with little one’s. Some stunning beaches have been missed off the list due to distance to walk from the car park, no toilets or facilities etc.Far West & Penzance AreaSennen beautiful long stretch of golden sand, toilets, pay and display CP often full early on sunny days in holidays, shops, café. Can be windy!Mousehole tiny fishing village with stunning houses. Small, sheltered safe beach, ideal for families with small children, CP very close to beach both ends, toilets and cafes.Marazion, Long Rock: safe, clean water, stunning backdrop, CP (pay man in hut on both), cafes, toilets, can be windy! Excellent Park behind.St Ives & Hayle AreaCarbis Bay:- Large, sheltered, plenty of facilities, lifeguardPorthmeor Beach:- premier beach, golden sand, plenty of facilities, lifeguardSt Ives Harbour Beach:- Best of both worlds, harbor and beach, very busy in holidays, limited parking,  sheltered, seagulls can be a problemPorthminster:- large, sheltered, blue flag, plenty of facilities, ideal for familiesHayle Towan/Gwithian:-  3 miles of golden sand,  difficult for pushchairs and toilets, lifeguard, limited facilitiesHelston & LizardPerranuthnoe spectacular stretch of sandy beach, no beach at high tide. Close parking but limited spaces. Fantastic café, toilets.Praa Sands large sandy beach, great for families, plenty of P&D parking. Cafes and 2 shops, toilets a bit of a trek from first side of beach. Excellent stream for paddling.Porthleven next to the harbour and separated by a pier, light shingle, great for rock pooling when tide is out. Limited parking and toilet facilities.Gunwalloe, Lizard Lovely sandy, family beach, stream through middle for paddling. Car Park NT a bit of a trek. Small café and toilets a little walk.Poldu Cove, Lizard Stunning sandy cove, Over the road P&D parking (a few free spaces along the road), café and toilets near by.Falmouth AreaSwanpool:-  great for families,  beach café, toilets, no lifeguard, shelteredMaenporth:- sandy, carpark, café, toilets, shop, no lifeguardGyllyngvase Beach:- great for families, lifeguard,  blue flag, toilets, parking, caféNorth CoastPortreath: Large sand & Shingle beach with caves and rockpools. Parking, toilets, cafe's and shops nearby. Lifeguard in summer.Porthtowan:- lifeguard, near carparking, toilets, good facilities,  blue flagTrevaunance Cove, St. Agnes:- sand and shingle mix, popular with families, good amenities, lifeguard.
