If you’re looking for a special photographer to capture beautiful shots of you and your family, Claire Hosken is the ideal choice. Her studio is based just outside Helston and her range includes pregnancy shoots, newborn, 1st birthday cake smashes, families and weddings.Claire loves working with children - capturing their cheekiness, their personality, their smiles and chuckles. She has three children herself, and is also a childminder, so she’s an expert in working with children and getting the best from them. Her sessions are relaxed, playful and fun for everyone. With a variety of toys for little ones to play with, Claire is able to take naturally happy photographs of children.
Newborn Sessions
Newborn sessions are best done when your baby is between one and three weeks old. This allows for beautiful sleepy and awake images which you will treasure forever. You can book newborn sessions anytime after your 12-week scan. Claire can book a provisional date working on your due date, and you can always make changes closer to the time.
Older Babies
As your baby grows, there are more options for photoshoots. At around six months, or once your baby is sitting, is an ideal time. A cake smash session is also a great first birthday present. This is done in three parts: a birthday shoot with little one in a favourite or birthday outfit with balloons and decorations or perhaps favourite toys; then add the cake and see what happens! To clean up there’s a fun bath session with bubbles and more opportunities for gorgeous photos.
Family Sessions
Claire also offers family sessions where you can have a variety of images and group arrangements taken, so you’ll have a great selection of images to admire and enjoy.All sessions can take place in the comfort of Claire’s warm, bright, friendly studio, or in a location of your choice. So if you have a favourite beach, park or woods, Claire can set up a photoshoot for your family where they can have fun in a relaxed environment.
