FREE settling in sessions at Truro High for Pre-school girls after Easter 2021

Girls will be able to join Cornwall’s top school, Truro High, free of charge for two days a week after Easter.

The summer term programme is available to those girls joining the school’s reception class this September and is designed to ensure a smooth and happy transition to full-time schooling.

Head of Prep, Mrs Katie Hinks, said: “I am delighted to welcome the girls in twice a week because not only will it give us the chance to get to know them, build their confidence and set them off on the pathway to success but it will also hopefully assist their families at a time when so many people are juggling childcare with working from home.”

In October 2020, The Good Schools Guide described Truro High Prep as: “A gem of a school where any little girl would thrive”.

We believe an excellent education is about far more than just incredible academics and this was recognised before Christmas when Truro High School was named UK Small Independent School of the Year.
