Moving through your trimesters your body changes in many different ways to prepare for your baby’s arrival. As physiotherapists are highly qualified in all aspects of women’s health, we understand these changes and are passionate about helping you to have a happy pregnancy and birth.
Here at Helston Physiotherapy Practice we will guide you through these changes helping you to keep strong, active and fit for everything your hormones might throw at you! Clare Girling is our ‘bump’ specialist with many years’ experience of caring for mums-to-be. She is also a Pilates Instructor bringing her specialist knowledge of core control and movement to the practice. Our personalised programmes will help you through each stage by showing you helpful techniques to look after your back and promote relaxation with massage and breathing approaches. The programmes will also be run in partnership with the Pelvic Partnership who are an organisation promoting health and wellbeing during pregnancy.
We offer two ante-natal programmes both covering relaxation, massage, back care, gentle fitness, using gym balls and preparing for baby’s arrival.

One to one programme
4 one to one sessions to be used as and when you need them.
Mum and baby
When baby has arrived we also offer one to one postnatal sessions designed to meet your individual needs.
